The school system is asking teachers to reach out to parents and ask that you fill out an online survey. The survey is a way for the district to poll families to see if you have certain technology and internet access. It is very important that every family fill out this survey. You will need your child's student ID which they know as their lunch number or google sign in. Please follow the link below
There are several students who are not signed up on Classroom Dojo. I'm hoping to reach those families by phone. The district sent out a recorded phone message to all families. If you communicate with other families in our classroom or school please let them know about our survey.
In the meantime, please make sure your child is reading at least 45 minutes per day. They have been reflecting on their reading at school and often write about their reading. Also, have them practice their basic addition and subtraction facts, complete 3 digit addition and subtraction with regrouping and complete the multiplication unit in the packet I sent home. Completing the entire packet will help keep you child engaged in learning.
I hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy. As I’m sure you are already aware, our school will be serving grab and go breakfast and lunch (Monday/Friday) between the hours of 9:00 am -12:00 pm for all enrolled students. Also, I found some additional online learning websites that your family can access from home. These websites include:
Prodigy Math, Kahoot, CoolMath, Mystery Science, National Geographic Kids, TIME for Kids, and Starfall.
You can access my classroom website through Weebly.com, log onto my Google classroom using the code 2FYQE4H and Class Dojo for up to date information.
Please feel free to reach out to me should you have any questions and I will do my best to answer them.
